The G.L.O.W.ing Support Groups
At Glow Ministries, we are committed to transparency and authenticity in all things. The following principles are adopted and written in an effort to share with you how we view the support given in the Self-Worth Support Groups. This describes our approach and definition of group support with Holy Spirit lead facilitation.
We are dependent on prayer to inform our gatherings. Prayer provides the connection we all deeply need with our Heavenly Father. Therefore, we will model prayer as an essential component of our enlightenment in matters of life.
Philippians 4:6 - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto Yah.
We allow the Holy Spirit to guide each session. The Holy Spirit is the True Solution who provides comfort, console, and guidance. Therefore, we will invite the Holy Spirit to join our gatherings and ultimately guide the process.
John 14:26 - But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

We are committed to practicing discipleship.
Each co-facilitator has experienced a personal relationship with Yah through Yahshua the Messiah. Therefore, spiritual growth and personal self-care for facilitators as well as group members are foundational to our ongoing transformation toward greater Messiah-likeness which leads to true wholeness.

We are steadfast in our belief that people matter to Yah
Each person has worth and is uniquely created in Yah’s image. Therefore, we seek to foster an understanding of Yah’s purpose and plan for each life as it pertains to each and every one of us.

We are passionate about reflecting Yah’s love
Yah delights in each person. Therefore, we demonstrate the unconditional love of Yah and share the hope and peace that comes from resting in His love.

We believe that healing occurs by Yah’s Spirit.
The Spirit of Yah has the power to provide authentic healing for our spiritual, emotional, and psychological suffering. Therefore, we will assist each person to trust Yah and all His resources to know there is hope for our healing, mind, body, and spirit.

We are dedicated to providing a safe and accepting environment
Each person can feel loved, empowered, and encouraged to embrace Yah’s truth about herself. Therefore, we offer and encourage judgment-free listening and unconditional acceptance as we express Yah’s love and truth through his word, through testimony, and through example.

We believe in an eternal prophetic perspective
There is more to this life than what we currently experience. Therefore, we help people to view their present suffering and personal challenges through an eternal perspective. Life trials are temporary.

We are convinced that biblical truth is foundational
The Bible is the source of truth. Therefore, we incorporate methodologies with a biblical perspective.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which Yahweh hath prepared for them that love him.
